Our Story



Hello you. In a world full of options, I would like to take this moment to sincerely thank you for being here. I am delighted to share with you how it all began for us.

I started 'Mahqota' after I was months into donning the hijab. I found how challenging it was to keep my scalp and hair staying fresh under the veil. Hairfall started quite soon after that. Until today, I vividly remember this very day, when I got back home from work, I spent the rest of that entire day in my room looking for a Halal haircare supplement online. It was 2017 and back then, there wasn’t one yet in Asia.

I found a few from international countries and ohmy the shipping fees to Singapore was very expensive. Because I knew it isn’t going to be a one time purchase, I couldn’t bring myself to place the first order :D

And then that very same day, I remember leaving google chrome (almost giving up searching) and went into my Instagram app. It was when this picture of a ‘before and after’ of a hair testimonial came up at the explore page. I clicked on it and saw that the brand was from a neighbouring country. I was delighted!

I dropped them a message and the rest.. was history. Later in that year, we have been very honoured and proud to be appointed as the Exclusive Partner for Sugardoll in Singapore. Our mission has always been the same since day 1, that is to create many HAIR-ppy moments and positive relationships with our clients through the amazing products.

Today, Sugardoll Singapore has an incredible team of 35 Authorised Partners and this amazing group of individuals have truly become family.

But it’s still just the beginning. We will never stop learning, never stop growing. When you are supporting us, know that you support the dreams that we have been hustling for our loved ones, as well as the endless career opportunities we get to create for others who are in this journey together with us. And for that, we are forever grateful.
